March 2009 Photo of the Month

Cyclone Hamish has caused the road north of Ngkala Rocks to be closed by National Parks, they have surveyed a new road and are awaiting native title's OK. The Ngkala Rocks track is the only access to Sandy Cape and the lighthouse along with other camping zones and some great fishing spots, hope to see it open up again soon.
The Cyclone has caused erosion that parts of the Island will never recover from.
